I love being a first grade teacher! I have a double major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Montevallo, and I am currently enrolled at University of West Alabama working on my Masters in Elementary Education. I have been teaching since 1992, more than 20 years have been in first grade. I have been teaching at Clanton Elementary since 2019. My husband, Mitchell and I have 4 children, Alex, Connor, Guy and Anthony. We live in Alabaster with our chocolate lab, Aubie and cat, Cody.I love to spend time with my family, going to the beach, and being outside. I like to read during the summer when I have time, mostly biographies.
